British Red Cross Society (Bushey and Watford)

Bushey and Watford Red Cross Centre offers a variety of First Aid courses for the public as well as Medical Loans. There are also short baby/child centered courses.

The centre also provides First Aid cover at many local events. Volunteers are available to give talks on Red Cross. Several volunteers are part of the FIre and Emergency Support Service.

Not everyone wants to be a first aider. Some help with Medical Loan, others with fundraising or giving support when it's needed, e.g. during Flag Week. New members are always welcome.

Meetings are held on Tuesdays from 7.45pm-10.00pm (during term time) at Bushey Methodist Church Hall, King Edward Road, Bushey. There is a variety of speakers and a social event each term.

Information regarding short-term medical loans is available from Bushey Health Centre on Mondays 2.30pm-4.00pm and Wednesday and Friday from 10.00am-12noon. Please call on 01923 235322 or 01923 854242 for information on medical loans.
