Parentline Plus, the biggest independent provider of parent support in the country, is a national charity that works for and with parents. They know that parents want to do the best they can for their children, but they also know that family life can sometimes be challenging and difficult. After all, there is no one right way to be a parent. They encourage parents to see that asking for help is a sign of strength, offer practical solutions and suggests ways to manage their particular situations and difficulties.

Services:
* A free confidential, 24 hour helpline (0808 800 22 22);
* A free text phone for people who are deaf, hard of hearing or have a speech impairment (0800 783 6783);
* Email support;
* Parents Together groups and workshops - face to face and by telephone;
* Information leaflets;
* Individual parent support;
* Training for professionals;
* Volunteer opportunities.

Families come in all shapes and sizes and they value and celebrate the contribution that so many people make to raising happy and healthy children. Strong and committed investment in family life is the key way to deliver positive outcomes for children, and they act as the voice for parents in the wider community to achieve this.

The Parentline Plus Vision and Values document sets out their values and amibitions for the period 2005-10. It is supported by operational plans for all their services, and by area plans for each area office. The annual business plan sets out the charity's targets and priorities, and includes the annual budget.
