Breaks Manor Youth Centre, Link Drive, Hatfield.
* Meeting times:
Mondays from 10.30am to 1.30pm.
* Cost: £1.00.
This project is open to young mums and young mums-to-be aged 13-19.
The programme is centred round issues that are important to the young mums and young mums to be. It gives them opportunities to learn new skills. The project also acts as a support group to the young people who attend allowing them to share their experiences, learn from one another and voice their concerns.
In addition to a planned programme of activities, the health visitor comes to the project once a month for an informal session where the young mums can get advice.
Young people’s successes are recorded and celebrated.
