The Compassionate Friends (TCF) is a nationwide organisation of bereaved parents and their families offering understanding, support and encouragement after the death of a child or children.
Help is offered to any parent whose son or daughter has died at any age and from any cause and is extended to siblings and grand-parents. Support is offered through a Helpline, group support meetings, one-to-one visiting, telephone and/or letter contact, a range of publications and leaflets, a quarterly newsletter, a postal library, retreats and an annual weekend gathering. Befriending support not counselling.
