The objective of the Peace Hospice Bereavement Department is the relief of distress and suffering which can result from the grief of bereavement and to promote a better understanding in the community of the problems faced by bereaved persons. The catchment areas are Hertsmere, Watford and Three Rivers council areas.
There is a grief support programme for children called stars with one to one counselling, bereavement visiting, telephone support and family support.
