Times: Weekdays 10.00am-3.00pm.
The St Albans City and District Bereavement Network is available to people of all backgrounds regardless of race creed or culture.
They aim to help anyone in the St Albans City and District to have access to bereavement support.
All support will be given by qualified staff and trained volunteers.
They offer:
* Telephone helpline - 01727 841841 volunteers will take time to listen to your concerns.
* Home visiting service - someone to visit and support you by listening in confidence.
* Social support group - for those who would like to share with others in a simular position.
* Talking Group - an opportunity to meet in a group therapeutic setting with trained counsellors/facilitators.
* Bereavement counselling.
* Support service - for children, young people and their families.
* Helpful resources - leaflets, books, information for individuals and professionals on local and national organisations.
These services are provided free to all bereaved people and their families.
They also offer advice and support for professionals - eg GP's, health workers, district nurses, companies and school personnel.
