Grandparents Association

Their mission is to improve the lives of children by working with and for all grandparents especially those who:
* Have lost or are losing contact with their grandchildren because of divorce, separation or other family problems;
* Are caring for their grandchildren on a full time basis;
* Have childcare responsibilities for their grandchildren;
* Are interested in the educational and welfare needs of their grandchildren.

Grandparents' Association recognises the changes in modern family life and the difficulties experienced by some.

It provides a help line, a welfare benefits line for grandparents bringing up their grandchildren, a residence order scheme, support groups, grandparent and toddler groups, open meetings and information events.

Membership: Individual £15; Family £20 (discounted online rates available).

* Letchworth meeting at Noel Family Centre - Wednesday 9.45am-11.15am. (term time only)
