Stevenage and North Herts Domestic Violence Forum

Aims
To continue developing and implementing an inter-agency stratergy on domestic violence which seeks to:
* promote and maintain co-operation and joint action.
* increase awareness of domestic violence in the community and amongst agencies.
* seek to improve services and responses to all those who have experienced, or are experiencing domestic violence.

Objectives
In pursuit of these aims the agencies and people in the Forum resolve to:
* identify and make recommendations on gaps in service delivery.
* apply for and seek to increase the resources available for domestic violence work.
* make representations when appropriate to local or national organisations on issues and policies related to domestic violence.

Womens's Refuge, Stevenage and North Herts Women's Refuge, NCH Family Centre, North Herts Contact Centre, Churches Together in Stevenage, NHS, Police, Victim Support, Witness Service, CPS, Local Authorities and Councils, Herts Young Homeless Group, Relate.
