The six-bedroom refuge operated for the past 30 years by Dacorum Womens Aid has helped thousands of women and their children to escape from domestic violence.

The refuge is open to any woman suffering from physical, sexual or emotional abuse from her husband or partner.

The refuge is there to provide somewhere safe for women and their children whilst they decide what they want to do. Emotional support, information and a listening ear are always available. Contact is through your GP or Health Visitor, the Samaritans, CAB or Police only.
