Local branch of "The British Cactus and Succulent Society".
Venue for meetings: Capel Manor Horticultural and Environmental Centre, Bullsmoor Lane, Enfield.
The objectives of this society are concerned with the study, culture and propogation of cacti and other succulent plants and to promote the conservation of such plants.
The branch has regular meetings with guest speakers who talk on plant cultivation and information on plant habitat. There are also plant sales, shows and social events through out the year.
The organisation meets on every third Friday in the month at 7.30pm at Capel Manor Horticultural and Environmental Centre.
The organisation also has an Internet Home Page that provides information for the North London branch as well as links to world wide cacti and succulent societies.
Costs:
£1.00 per session (covers raffle & refreshments)
£1.00 per annum (Branch membership fee)
£15.00 per annum (Parent Society membership)
