Section 16 of the London LOOP is a 10-mile waymarked walk from Elstree to Cockfosters, via Scratchwood, Moat Mount, Totteridge Fields, Dollis Brook, High Barnet, Hadley Green, Monken Hadley Common and Jack's Lake.
The route is mostly level with a few longish slopes including stiles and kissing gates. The Scratchwood, Barnet and Hadley sections are suitable for the less mobile and for pushchairs.
The leaflet "Walk the LOOP in Barnet" gives clear directions and tells you where to find car parking, refreshments, toilets, etc, and is available from Greenspaces Section.
The walk passes the rail/tube stations at Elstree and Borehamwood; High Barnet; and Cockfosters.
