This is a conservation group affiliated to the Hertfordshire Federation of Amenity Societies. It is a member of the Council for the Protection of Rural England, The Green Belt Association and Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust.
The Society seeks to improve and protect the parish of Tewin and its environs. In addition to it's work on clearing obstructions from and protecting rights of way, the Society makes representations on planning matters. Members also plant trees and bulbs. They also organise meetings and publish a newsletter.
Subscription: £4 per household (2008).
Publications: Newsletter free to member (half-yearly); New Village Map; Trail Booklet, incorporating walks is available.
