Friends of Stream Woods is a local conservation group that carries out woodland management activities in two woodlands in Hatfield, Stream Woods and Oxley's Wood.

The aims are to conserve and enhance the wildlife and recreational value of the woodlands.

They would welcome more helpers, 16 and over. Previous experience is not necessary.

Working parties meet at Stream Woods or Oxley's Woods on every 3rd Sunday, from September to June, at 10.00am-12.00noon.

Affiliated organisations: British Trust For Conservation Volunteers (London Area).

Publications: Occasional Newsletter.
