The organisation works with local landowners and other interested parties to manage and promote the natural environment in the Parish of Arlesey. They are a Bedfordshire County Council Parish Paths Partner (P3) and are an associated group of the BTCV, a registered charity. All activities are covered by a personal and public liability insurance.
Activities are organised for all abilities and range from: Countryside management such as hedge planting and laying, coppicing woodland and the maintenance of the local footpath network. Members also have the opportunity to take training courses as and when available. A number of members also take part in the Bedfordshire Walk4Health initiative on Thursday mornings which take in the local agrarian footpaths. Day long walks and trips to nature reserves are also organised in the surrounding areas.
