Herts Careers Services Ltd (HCS) is an independent company delivering career management services to a wide range of clients at more than 20 locations throughout Hertfordshire. HCS works with European, government and locally established contacts and partnerships in the following areas:

* Providing information, advice and guidance to individuals living and working in Hertfordshire - Working with and supporting adults in making career decisions and offering a range of services, some of which are freely available.

* For Connexions, HCS provides information, advice and guidance to Hertfordshire young people and their parents/carers - HCS works in partnership with schools, colleges, other educational providers and employers to offer young people, from year 9 onwards, impartial and confidential information, advice and guidance. The employment team help young people (aged 16-19). Additional support is available to help young people with special needs.

* For Connexions, HCS also provides information and advice to Hertfordshire business - Working with employers and training organisations to support them during recruitment and training of young people. Providing information and advice on the local labour market and changes in education. HCS actively develops links between education and employers.
