Mrs P R Gates. Primary School Tuition (Hertford / Bengeo and environs)

Mrs Gates is a retired primary school headteacher of 20 years. She is OFSTED trained, and is a former OFSTED nursery school inspector.

She holds a current C.R.B. certificate.

Mrs Gates is a former External Advisor for Head Teachers' Performance Management, and Member of the Teachers Council. She continues in a local school as a Governor with responsibility for curriculum issues and personnel.

Mrs Gates is particularly interested and experienced with 4-11 year olds at Key Stage 1, and 2. She is also working with 4/5 year olds to reinforce the Governments expected curricular assessment outcomes prior to commencing Key Stage 1 (infants).

Primary support offered for:
Early years' expected outcomes;
Mathematics;
Reading / phonic work;
General English work.

Please telephone for details. Tuition is usually in tutor's home, as Mrs Gates finds children respond well in that environment.
