Mathematics and English Tutoring Service (Hoddesdon)

one to one private tuition for numeracy and literacy, provided by a fully-qualified college lecturer, who has a mathematics degree and also an expertise in learning difficulties such as dyslexia. Tutees of all ages can be taught at all standards, including SAT's, GCSE and A-Levels for maths and English up to Key Stage 3. The tutoring covers both teaching and examination preparation.

General numeracy and literacy support, including Key Skill, adult Basic Skills and preparation for th TDA (training and development agency for schools) exams, is also offered.

The times, length and frequency of lessons are flexible and would be arranged between the tutor and the client. Lessons take place at the tutor's residence, where many materials and resources are available. Many of these resources, including independently-built, self-making, interactive IT activities, can also be given or loaned to the student. CRB enhanced disclosure available.
