Ridgemond Training is a registered charity which provides flexible access to a wide variety of training provision. Provision includes Government funded workbased learning programmes such as Apprenticeships and e2e provision, as well as delivering directly to employers.
Formal training is offered in construction skills (bricklaying, carpentry and joinery and painting and decorating), IT, horticulture and customer service.
They also offer a mentoring and coaching service to accredit workplace skills that have been acquired over a number of years. This service helps individuals to benchmark personal performance to occupational standards and achieve a National Vocational Qualification.
The mentoring service is delivered in one to one situations at the place of work and is available in the following areas:
Bricklaying, carpentry & joinery, painting & decorating, customer service, administration, information technology and horticulture.
They are also a Test Centre for providing health and safety tests to enable employees in the construction industry to apply for their CSCS card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme).
Ridgemond Training is Matrix accredited and can offer impartial information, advice and guidance for career, education and personal development to individuals or groups of individuals in companies.
Ridgemond Training has a commercial creche for children from3 months to 5 years of age.
