Queenswood has been educating and caring for girls for over 100 years. This is an Independent boarding (full and day) school for girls from 11 to 18 years of age. Scholarships are available. Entrance is at the ages of 11 and 13 and for the sixth form.
The school stands in 120 acres of gardens and woodlands. Situated just five minutes drive from the M25, and is convenient for Heathrow, Gatwick, Stanstead, and Luton airports as well as for London and the Home Counties. Specialisms are sport (tennis), and music.
At Queenswood they are committed to a balanced and broad curriculum through which every girl can achieve her full potential. The academic record of the school is strong; each girl takes an average of nine G.C.S.E.s and three A/S A-Levels. Most of sixth formers go onto university.
