Duncombe School (Bengeo)

Duncombe School is an independent school for children aged 2-11 years. They have a proven record of academic achievement together with sporting excellence. The school also sees its role as helping to build confident, considerate citizens capable of setting and achieving their goals.

Children enter Treetops Pre-school from age 2. Treetops is purpose built to accommodate these younger children. They are encouraged to learn through a wide variety of both planned and free play experiences. From here, children are gradually introduced into the main school.

Their curriculum covers a wide range of subjects including English, Maths, Science, French, ICT, Religious Education, Music, Art and Craft, Design Technology and Sport. They have specialist teaching staff in many areas.

Their academic facilities include an extensive library, computer room, equipped science room, art and craft studio, and music room. They also have an Astroturf pitch and athletics track allowing full year-round use, and facilities for their after school clubs. The clubs offer an extensive range of activities and have included golf, archery, tennis, self defence, Latin, and cookery. A breakast club is also provided.

Duncombe has a warm and purposeful atmosphere where children can thrive. Children progress fron Duncombe to a wide range of senior schools, both independent and maintained.
