St Joseph’s In the Park is set in beautiful parkland in the village of Hertingfordbury near Hertford. It is independent and co-educational for children between the ages of 3 and 11. This school is a special place. It is special because of the relationships between the people that make up the community: children, parents, past pupils, staff and governors. As a consequence, the links within our community are strong and unique. All agree on the one certainty at the heart of any primary school: confidence and self-esteem underpin social and academic success.

As a school we look after the children across their social, academic and physical experiences. We aim to build steadily through child’s life at St Joseph’s In the Park, developing knowledge and skills for future growth. Support for learning permeates the teaching culture across the school whether for specific learning difficulties or for able and talented children. We encourage, we praise and we are honest. We are proud of all our children’s achievements.

We look forward to meeting you any time you wish to visit the school.
