Kingshott School is a co-educational day preparatory school for girls and boys aged between 4 and 13. Classes are around 20.
Kingshott has an excellent reputation as a school which prepares children for the rapidly changing world of the 21st century without losing sight of traditional approaches and values. Their overriding aims are to provide an all round education and to pursue excellence in a friendly, happy but structured environment.
At every turn there are facilities and opportunities to encourage the achievement of their aims. The school has a long tradition of care at the heart of its ethos. Every individual matters and every pupil has access to everything they offer. All children are given the chance to discover and to develop their talents as fully as possible.
Set in 18 acres of playing fields, there are excellent sports facilities, including a covered swimming pool and all-weather training area and tennis courts. The school has outstanding music, art and drama departments.
Kingshott has embarked on an exciting redevelopment of the school. In 2004-5 their new Pre-Prep building (Reception to year 2)has opened. This consists of nine modern classrooms and a hall. In September 2008 a new middle school building was opened providing new teaching facilities for Years 3 to 5. The rest of the school has been completely refurbished with a total overhaul of the ICT networks for September. The aim is that these developments will enable them to provide unrivalled facilities in the area.
