Bishop's Stortford College Junior School

Bishop's Stortford College Junior School is a thriving co-educational, day and boarding school for 4 to 12 year olds, with boarding places available from the age of 7 years.

Set alongside the Senior School in a beautifully spacious 130-acre campus with superb facilities, Bishop's Stortford College Junior School is large enough to provide an exceptional range of opportunities, yet small enough for individuals to be known and valued. Close liaison with the Senior School ensures a smooth transition for pupils to the next stage of their education.

Our aim is to develop confident, well-rounded and interesting young men and women who take with them the qualifications, skills, adaptability and respect for others to thrive in the world beyond school.

The main stages of entry are 4+ (reception), 7+ (Year 3), 10+ (Year 6), and 11+ (Year 7), although there may be places available at other stages, too. We offer a flexible approach to boarding with full, weekly and “flexi” or “occasional” boarding options provided. We offer Academic, Art and Music scholarships and financial assistance (in the form of bursaries) is available on a means-tested basis.
