SETPOINT Hertfordshire is an educational charity whose aim is to inspire young people about science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). We achieve this by engaging young people in memorable experiences and by enriching their lives through exposure to impressive people who work in science, engineering and technology.
The focus is Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).
SETPOINT Hertfordshire acts as one-stop-shop for all STEM activities that involve education and industry working in partnership.
SETPOINT Hertfordshire manages programmes for many companies (including GSK, MSD and MBDA) and organisations (e.g. Nuffield and STEMNET).
Everything that we achieve is in partnership with others.
SETPOINT Hertfordshire is supported from many sources, which include companies and the University of Hertfordshire. The director is a teacher, seconded by Hertfordshire County Council's Children Schools and Families Service to run the SETPOINT.
