The University of the Third Age is for retired people looking for interesting and stimulating activities to share with like-minded people.

There are no permanent buildings or teachers. It is a mutual self-help group with members sharing their skills and interests for the enlightenment of others, or particpating in a subject they may wish to know more about.

The groups programme and the details of how to contact the group co-ordinators are displayed on the retirement collection noticeboard in Stevenage Central Library.

All welcome. Subjects covered : Music (Vocal and Instrumental), Play reading, Calligraphy, Opera Appreciation, Creative Writing, Reading for Pleasure, Theatre Club, Quilting, History, Computer Users, Sharing, Science and Technology.
