Group meets fortnightly on Tuesdays from 2.30pm at the St Saviours Church Hall, Sandpit Lane, St Albans, Herts.
The University of the Third Age (U3A) aims to advance the education of the public, particularly retired and semi-retired people and to provide leisure and recreation activities for the residents of St Albans and the surrounding area.
Although designated "University of the Third Age", it has no permanent teachers or buildings and its members require no academic qualifications, nor does it issue diplomas or degrees.
The U3A is a mutual self-help group with members using their skills and interests for the enlightenment of others or to further their own studies.
