Classes for adults are offered in Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, West Suffolk, Downham Market and Kings lynn in Norfolk, Colchester, Clacton and Saffron Walden in Essex, and the following locations in Hertfordshire: Letchworth, Stevenage and St Albans.

Subjects include archaeology, art and architecture, counselling, local and family history, natural sciences, philosophy and religion, landscape history, etc.

No qualifications are necessary. Most of the courses are for ten or twenty weekly sessions, day or evening; fees are typically about £80 for ten weeks. Some one and two-year Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma courses are available offering more in-depth study.

Weekend and summer courses are held at Madingley Hall near Cambridge throughout the year. Both residential and non-residential places are available on most of these courses.

A few day-schools are held in Cambridge and Peterborough from 8th November 2008 to 25th April 2009.
