Theatre is... a brand new company set up to challenge and reshape existing models of presenting live performance to young audiences across the East of England and beyond.

Theate is... will bring together new and experimental forms and integrate new media technologies with live performance across every aspect of theatre, dance and storytelling.

Theartre is... will engage new audiences with live performance.

We believe, by bringing modern, exciting live experiences to young audiences from all backgrounds, they will develop a passion for the art. A passion that will make theatre as natural a choice for young people as sport, music or the internet.

About Theatre is...
Intended as a crucible for young talent in the East of England, Theatre Is... aims to encourage participation, nurture young practitioners and produce world-class touring theatre productions.

In January 2006, Theatre is..., won the tender from the Arts Council England East to set up and develop the beacon organisation to lead on the development, delivery and distribution of theatre for young people in the East of England.

Theatre is... have secured core funding from arts Council England and from Hertfordshire County Council.
