Watford Palace Young Peoples Theatre

Palace Youth Theatre:

The Youth Theatre meets weekly and is open to all young people, regardless of levels of ability, and is led by professional theatre directors. The year runs from the beginning of September until the end of July and usually finishes with a performance on the Palace Theatre's stage.

There are four groups divided by age:
* Junior Group (ages 11-12) - Saturdays 9.30am to 11.30am
* Middle Group (ages 13-14) - Saturdays 1.00pm to 3.00pm
* Senior Group (ages 15+) - Tuesdays/Thursdays 6.00pm to 8.00pm

Sessions range from workshopping theatre techniques, storytelling and improvisation to physical theatre and devising (making a piece of theatre from scratch), as well as test driving new plays and having a go at writing one themselves.

Interested in technical theatre or stage management? Aged 14+? if so then the Backstage Youth Theatre is for you. Contact for further details.

Price: £85 per year (All the groups are currently full and there is a waiting list).
