Aims to promote participation in sport and leisure for adults with learning disabilities and/or mental health problems.
Objectives: To forge better links with leisure providers and to encourage greater participation in sport and leisure whilst creating greater awareness of disabled people's needs in relation to sports and leisure.
Activities cover a wide range of interests. Some of the activities include bowling, basket ball, uni-hoc, theatre visits, museum visits, pub meals, panto's, disco's, visits to places of interest around the country, an annual holiday and anything else that Leisure Direct members suggest.
