Special Olympics St Albans

Special Olympics St Albans runs sports sessions for individuals with a learning disability in the St Albans City and District area. We aim to support our athletes in building confidence, self esteem and skill levels as well as competing against other athletes in local, regional and national Special Olympics events.

* Sports sessions are accessible to all learning disabled individuals 6yrs + (8yrs+ for competitions).
* No experience is required as we provide for all levels of ability.
* Sessions are run by qualified professional coaches / sports leaders and are assisted by volunteers.
* Sessions only run during school term time except Golf which runs April – September.
* A small subsidised cost is charged for each session.
* Registration forms have to be completed by all athletes before participation.

* Golf;
* Multi Sports;
* Swimming.
