Electric or manual wheelchairs and battery powered scooters can be borrowed from the St Albans shopmobility site in the Drovers Way car park, off Catherine Street (behind BHS in St Peter's Street). The scheme is open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays between 9.30am and 4.00pm.

Shopmobility also has a Harpenden office which is open on Thursdays from 9.30am to 4.00pm. The office is at the rear of Harpenden Methodist Church in the High Street and can be accessed via Bowers Way car park.
