The Hemel Hempstead Centre for the Blind in Boxmoor is a modern, well-cared for community hall with on-site parking. It is owned by the Hertfordshire Society for the Blind but operated by a local Management Committee. The Centre is available for use by groups of visually impaired people and for hire by people with other disabilities and other appropriate groups.
The attractive main hall has comfortable seating, a PA system, an induction loop and Braile signage. The fully equipped kitchen is also available to hirers. Social clubs for visually impaired people meet there including, the Rotary Blind Club and the Wednesday Afternoon Blind Club. Weekly classes are held for both Computers and Yoga.

Accessibility: Wheelchair access with no steps. 2 Wide disabled toilets (mens and ladies). Braille signage. Induction hearing loop.
