Listening Books provides an audio book library service to anyone who suffers from an illness or disability which makes it impossible or difficult to hold a book, turn its pages, or read in the normal way. Their service meets the needs of adults and children with physical disabilities and also those with learning difficulties, such as dyslexia.
The Listening Book service is also available to institutions such as hospitals, residential and nursing homes and schools, as well as to individuals.
They provide important support for the National Curriculum at Key Stages 2, 3, 4 and A-level.
