RADAR's Information Department is open Monday to Thursday between the hours of 10.00am and 4.00pm. Please note that the department is now closed on Fridays.

Information and advice can be provided about a variety of subjects that affect the daily lives of disabled people, and the department has a comprehensive list of alternative contacts to refer people where appropriate.

Disabled people and anyone who knows or works with disabled people are welcome to call the department, and a member of the team will be happy to help.

RADAR's total membership is now 764. This includes voluntary organisations/groups, non-voluntary and corporate members and individual members.

RADAR also administers the National Key Scheme for toilets for people with disabilities. The scheme offers people with disabilities independent access to public toilets. There is a small charge made for keys. Contact RADAR's automated telephone system for further information - (020 7250 3222, press 1 for the National Key Scheme, then press 1 on how to order the key, press 2 on how to order the National Key Scheme Guide, press 3 on how to order both key and guide, press 4 on how to order more than one key, and press 5 for information on the lock system).
