For over 30 years the Disability Law Service (DLS) has continued to provide high quality information and advice to disabled and Deaf people. As a national registered charity DLS is independent, run by and for disabled people.
DLS also opens its adviceline to the families and carers of disabled people. In addition, DLS can provide a casework service and support at any level of the legal system.
We specialise, and only give advice, in these six areas of law:
- Disability Discrimination
- Consumer
- Community Care
- Further and Higher Education
- Employment
- Welfare Benefits (Greater London Area)
If you have a legal problem in one of these areas of law it would be adviseable to take some time to look at the online resources on this site.
Researching your problem before speaking to a legal adviser will ensure you get the most from your adviceline call.
The Disability Law Service is affiliated to Law Centres Federation.
