Summary Alternative Name: DMF

The purpose of the DME is:
* To act on behalf of 12 independent disabled motorists clubs. To ensure that all the said clubs receive relevent information as and when necessary.
* To negotiate with national bodies on matters of concern to their clubs or individual members.
* To give out information to the general public and members as far as costs will allow on matters connected with travel for disabled people and their carers.

Any disabled person and their carer are eligible to become a member.

Services provided:
Information related to travel, both public and private;
Publish quarterly magazines free to members;
Local clubs in addition have such things as Static caravans based at Skegness available at well below commercial rates to all DMF members. Discounts of 25% with intercontinal hotels and narrow boats.
