The aims of Open Hands:

* To encourage deaf and hearing Christians to come together in fellowship at services and conferences of celebration and praise - Local, Regional and National.

* To help growing Christians by providing practical sessions in witness and outreach.

* To encourage Bible study and prayer and also release ministries.

* To encourage hearing Christians to attend courses to learn sign language.

* To run short seminars on Deaf Awareness.

* To make video tapes to teach basic Christian signs for the hearing.

* To make video tapes of Christian witness and teaching for the Deaf.

* To make themselves available to the Deaf community if they are lonely or need help.

Open Hands also has an office in South Wales.
