RNIB. Sunshine House School (Northwood)
Sunshine House School provides specialist education and care for children aged 2 to 11, who have multiple / complex disabilities and are blind or partially sighted.
The school is attended by up to 56 children from Hertfordshire, South Buckinghamshire, Middlesex, Berkshire, London and further afield. The children are taught the full range of the National Curriculum but in addition they have an individual learning plan which gives them the extra support they need. This might include braille, physiotherapy, speech and language therapy, hydrotherapy, mobility training and visual assessment and stimulation.
