Jill began teaching creative dance and drama at Hornbeams Adult Training Centre in 1990 and taught there for 14 years. During that time she produced and directed a variety of pantomimes and other shows and also furthered her own development by completing a range of courses including music, drama and dance therapy. At present, Jill is teaching part-time at a resource centre in Harrow, Middlesex.
Additional activities have included teaching and workshops at other adult training centres, some special needs schools in Hertfordshire and residential homes for the elderly.
Incorporating role-play, mime, music and drama, percussion and using a wide range of music, coloured veils and many different props, creative dance and drama aims to bring about a physical and mental change within the students themselves through the joy of dance and self expression.
Jill is currently available for short term and occasional engagements, including half day sessions by private arrangement.
Jill originally trained at the London College of Dance and Drama before pursuing her career as an international Belly Dancer.
