The Orpheus Centre is an inclusive performing arts centre, opened in 1998. In time it has earned the respect and recognition of many people, both locally and internationally.
Their main aim at the Orpheus Centre is to increase self-confidence and independence, primarily through disabled and non-disabled people working together in the performing arts.
As an extension of the creative production and performance facilities at the Orpheus Centre - the Baseline Studios are now fully operational as a community resource. The Baseline Studios comprise of three state-of-the-art technology suites (IT Studio, Multi-Media Studio and Music Studio) which are available for individuals, groups and organisations to use to; broaden learning, develop new skills and provide new opportunities through the use of technology.
The studios are fully accessible to disabled people and the vast amount of up-to-date technology enables parties to use equipment that is rare to find at such a high standard in a single location.
