This service provides music therapy for children in Hertfordshire. The service aims to establish music therapy in schools and other organisations for children.
Music therapy can be helpful for children and young people with any kind of special need, including communication difficulties, learning disabilities, physical disabilities and emotional or behavioural difficulties. The aims of music therapy include:
* Developing communication and interaction;
* Promoting self awareness and self confidence;
* Providing emotional support.
All the therapists in the team are state registered.
