Rickmansworth Toy Library

* Venue: WRVS Project Centre, Bury Meadows, Bury Lane, Rickmansworth, Herts.

* Meeting Times: The toy library is open from 9.30am-11.00am every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month, including school holidays (except the 4th Wednesday in December).

* Hire Charges: Costs range from 50p to £5 per toy (2007/8). Two forms of ID are requested upon joining the library.

This is a toy lending service for children from 0-8 years old.

There are toys suitable for babies, toddlers and pre-school children, as well as educational toys, in line with the National Curriculum Key Stage 1.

* Available toys include: activities centres, musical toys, water play, board games, jigsaws, slides, electronic learning games, tunnels, pop-up houses and ride-on toys, CD Roms are also available. There is a selection of over 250 toys to choose from, many of which are suitable for children with special needs.

Children are encouraged to play with the toys before they hire them. New toys are bought regulary to ensure the latest trends are represented.
