Who is eligible for meals on wheels?
A person who is:
* frail elderly
* housebound
* prevented from shopping, preparing andcooking a hot meal due to a disability
* recently discharged from hospital
* in need of temporary help to relieve a carer

Who can refer people for the meals on wheels service
* Doctor
* District Nurse
* Adult Care Services (formerly Social Services)
* Hospital Social Worker

Cost and delivery of the meals
The cost per meal is £2.50. Delivery in the parish of Chorleywood, Chenies and Loudwater on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Choice of meals
There is no choice of menu but some special diets can be catered for.
