Hertford Toy Library

The Toy Library is open during term time on Mondays from 9.30-11.00am and is held at Hertford Selections Children's Centre, Welwyn Road, Hertford.

The Hertford Toy Library is open to families in the Hertford area who have children from 0 to 5 years of age.

It offers a range of stimulating and educational toys. These include baby toys such as baby gyms, pop-up toys, rattles and shape sorters. Toys for toddlers include puzzles, musical instruments, duplo, brio, dressing up and a shop.

There are also larger toys available such as trikes, slides and rockers as well as much much more. Large "party toys" including bouncy castles, a ball pond, bubble machine and outdoor play games are also available to members. These are hired on a per-event basis for a very reasonable fee.

There is an annual subscription of £4.50 per family and then a charge of 50p a toy per fortnight. The annual subscription does not apply if you receive income support or your child has special educational needs.

The age and area criteria do not apply for children with special educational needs.
