Watford Council for Voluntary Service is a voluntary organisation set up by the Watford community to act as an umbrella organisation for local voluntary action. The CVS aims to be a one-stop-shop for local voluntary organisations. They offer advice and guidance, provide meeting rooms and facilities, organise training, help with fundraising, promote voluntarism and contribute to local strategic plans.
Facilities for hire:
Watford CVS has two rooms (one for up to 30 people, the other for up to 6) available for hire. Included in the hire is the use of a laptop/projector, TV/Video, OHP, flipchart, paper and pens and an urn. Tea, coffee, sugar and cups will be provided.
Hire charges are per session and the rooms are available for mornings (9.00am to 12.45pm) and afternoons (1.00pm to 4.45pm). Currently evening meetings can only take place providing a staff member of Watford CVS is participating.
Watford CVS currently has the following equipment available to hire voluntary and statutory organisations. The hire period is one working day. Please contact for further information.
