The mission of the Volunteer Centre Stevenage is to provide information, advice, training and support on volunteering matters to individuals, groups and organisations.
The Centre exists to encourage and sustain a culture of community volunteering in Stevenage and surrounding areas.
In addition to matching individual volunteers to volunteering opportunities, VCS works to support volunteer involving organisations on volunteer related issues.
VCS maintains a current up to date list of volunteering vacancies in the Stevenage and surrounding areas.
Facilities for people with disabilities: The Together Centre offers disability access and full disabled facilities
There is car parking in the shopping area.
Publications: quarterly newsletter & e-bulletin.
