Berkhamsted Arts Trust

Berkhamsted Arts Trust (BAT) is comprised of representatives of approximately 20 local voluntary organisations which focus on aspects of social, cultural and artistic life. These cover areas of painting, jazz, history, archaeology, conservation, film, amateur theatre, choral works, orchestral and chamber music and opera.

From funds provided by Dacorum Borough Council, BAT arranges deficit grants based on annual budget submissions by member organisations. BAT also publishes, annually in September, a diary of all events included in the programmes of member organisations. This is delivered by Royal Mail to each address in HP4 as well as being available in local libraries, information bureaux and Berkhamsted Civic Centre.

Anyone new to the area and unable to locate a copy of the Berkhamsted Arts Trust Diary should either contact the Diary Co-ordinator or visit the website. For events information, the representative of the appropriate Society should be approached and contact details can be found in the Diary.
