Family Fund
The Family Fund is the largest independent grant-giving organisation, helping families in the UK caring for severely disabled ill children. The Fund is open to low income families. Families must be resident in the UK.
Help is given in the form of grants that must relate to the disabled child's needs and can only be offered for children and young people aged 15 and under. The Fund will consider any request on its merits and within its grant making criteria.
The Fund cannot help where there is a responsibility on a statutory agency to help with the requested item.
The Fun can only help families who meet the Funds criteria that is set and regularly reviewed by the Board of Trustees. The Fund works with an annual fixed budget and all grant awards are discretionary and subject to funds being available. There is no entitlement to help from the Fund.
