Winston Churchill Memorial Trust
The Winston Churchill Memorial Trust's 'Travelling Fellowships' enables British citizens resident in the United Kingdom to acquire knowledge and experience abroad.
British citizens are eligible for the 100 or so annual awards; applicants must be 18 years or over and can be in any occupation. To apply you must have an individual project, to be undertaken overseas that matches one of the categories set for the year you are applying. The Fellowship Scheme does not cover attending courses, academic studies, student grants or gap year projects.
Grants usually cover a stay overseas of between 4-8 weeks (minimum of 4 weeks).
